Fin-A-Thon March 17, 2012

updates

Shark finning is destroying populations of the oceans apex predator.  By destroying the chain of life in the oceans, the oceans themselves are dying.  We are responsible for protecting not just the 30% of the world's surface we can see but also the 70% beneath the waves.

Join the swimmers, snorkelers and divers of Langley Diving as we undertake a "Fin-A-Thon" for Project Aware.  Our goal is to raise $1,500 to fight for sharks and the oceans at large.

Participants will be expected to sign up sponsers who will donate money based upon the number of laps they complete during the event.

All expenses for the event are being carried by Langley Diving so 100% of the money raised will go to Project Aware to support Shark Awareness and anti-Finning initiatives.

Where:  Walnut Grove Pool, 88th and Walnut Grove Drive, Langley BC

When:  March 17, 2012 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM

How do I sign up? - email:  [email protected] and we will send you a sign up sheet.
