Congratulations to Allen & Clara from Singapore for completing the first Eco-Diver certification course.

The course was conducted by Reef Check Trainer Andrew Taylor at Blue Corner Dive and included a day of onshore training. Students learned to identify fish, invertebrates and substrate then conduct coral reef monitoring according to standard Reef Check guidelines.  The second day involved conducting underwater transect surveys on Mangrove Reef.  The currents were quite strong, but the students did a great job setting out the transect line and conducting surveys.
