In Orlando, FL at the 2011 DEMA Trade Show,  Sunken Treasure Scuba Center from Jersey Shore, PA received PADI's Project AWARE Environmental Award for the second year in a row.  This award recognizes PADI Retailers or Resorts for outstanding achievement with respect to the aquatic environment. Sunken Treasure Scuba Center was one of just three scuba centers in the Northeastern United States to receive this prestigious recognition. This year Sunken Treasure Scuba Center worked with many organizations including Clinton County Cleanscapes and PA Cleanways to remove more than 10 tons of trash from both the Susquehanna and Allegheny rivers here in PA.  Next year Sunken Treasure will be working on four river cleanup projects between Lock Haven and Williamsport along with it's annual  Allegheny River cleanup in Warren County.  If you would like more information contact Rich Best at Sunken Treasure Scuba Center 570-398-1458
