Day 8 of my pledge was a tough one today. I spent the morning in hospital as a small cut I had on my foot has become infected and the infection has spread through my lymphatic system - anyway - it's nothing a course of industrial strength antibiotics won't sort out but it did mean no diving today so a stuck to my pledge and managed to trudge, limp and hobble and collect 2 clean up bags from on the beach! Today's hop-along haul included 3 plastic bottles, 11 metal cans, 11 food wrappers, 2 food pots, 1 lighter, 4 caps and 1 glass bottle. Hopefully the antibiotics will be kicking in tomorrow and I'll be able to get back out underwater collecting treasure.....!
