Varsity Students Collect 847kg Trash

Downbelow Marine and Wildlife Adventures, Malaysia enlisted the help of 30 university students for their Dive For Earth Day event. The students from University of Glamorgan, UK were visiting Gaya Island as part of a research project. 

Jaco from Downbelow, “They happily agreed to pitch in and help remove trash from the very environment they had been researching the previous week.”  To end the day dive shop donated a brand new dive computer and the students dug deep to raise $400 for Project AWARE.
