Trash is regularly washed into the sea and sinks, coming from nearby water villages where waste is frequently discarded.

A large plastic bag filled with soaked diapers.

Plastic bags and food wrappers – they were everywhere and often entangled in coral.

Disposable diapers – found in large quantities and a potential health hazard.

Disposable plastic containers were the most problematic, as they were found in large numbers and often broken into sharp pieces that could harm marine life.

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute. Keep up the great work in protecting our oceans!

The site has great potential for marine conservation education, and we believe regular clean-up dives can make a meaningful impact
