Learn to Snorkel at Lake Victoria Uganda

Snorkelling sessions at Lido Beach in Entebbe along Lake Victoria shores
updates

We explored various ways of making beaches along Lake Victoria in Uganda Cleaner and Safer for all Beach guards and Beach goers, The Training was aimed to interact and bring all Guards along major Beaches on Lake Victoria near the Entebbe International Airport Safer and cleaner due to the rising unsafe practices such as pouring debris into the Beaches and channels draining water into the Beach zone.

As part of our Environmental conservation, Dive against Debris campaign program to safeguard one of the fresh water lakes in Africa with its Marine life, we extended this exercise to the selected group to skill them with abilities to search and retrieve debris at the Beach shore besides their day to day Beachguard roles during the last quarter of 2023 and it was well attended and with value addition to their core roles.

Rwenzori Scuba Divers and Salvage aims to keep the Beaches along Lake Victoria Clean and to also introduce Snorkeling Sessions as an introductory step to make our Lake shores cleaner and safer for all stakeholders and the eco system.
